Psg play host to lucid Lyon

HIGH ON CONFIDENCE PSG GET READY TO FACE LYON

PSG have a tough task ahead of them as they host Lyon at the Parc de Princes. After qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions league, psg can hold their heads high.Psg, who currently lead the Ligue 1 table have shown great form in the last few matches.Although, their conversion rate has been a bit demoralising but they'd look to pounce onto their chances at their title rivals can be a surprise package, last year Lyon drew with psg 4-4 so you cannot underestimate them. In the last few matches they have been out of touch but they have the ability to convert chances into goals. It is also important for psg to win as if they lose and Lille wins, Lille will only be a point behind psg.Psg frantically need to continue their winning streak and Lyon need to get back on track.

Cavani's late heroics had saved the day for the Parisens in the midweek against Olympiakos but they can't afford to miss chances ,come December 2nd.Lyon have somewhat failed to deliver the goods and have barely managed to score a goal in their previous 5 to 6 matches. But,they would love to destroy the party of the Parisiens, who know how to trounce their opponents fair and square.

Sirigu will start unless there is some issue. He has made some excellent saves and with Ibrahimovic and Cavani up front in superb form. Psg have become the side to beat in the French Ligue 1.With Lavezzi out of form, it is important that players like Motta,Moura to continue their good form and for Ibra and Cavani to convert their opportunities into goals.

It will be a fascinating encounter don't forget to watch the match on december 2nd 1:30 am(IST)

I will predict a 2-0 win for psg.

Similarity Between Wine and Giggs

Ryan Joseph Giggs is one of the most loyal football players in the history of football. He has been playing for Manchester United for more than 25 years. The best thing about Ryan Giggs that he gets better with age. He has also played for Manchester City for 2 seasons. He established himself as a winger in the early 1990's and is known for his tireless running, ball possession and creating chances for the other team mates.

His last match was against Cardiff City ( 2-2) in which he played at the city of his birth. With a vintage and clean play at his last match against Cardiff, he demonstrated that he is still an integral part of the squad. Playing at the city of his birth, the Welshman rose from the bench from the 73rd minute and immediately caught an eye of the fans with his skills and passes. Every spectator at the stadium was surprised to see the first time through-ball for Danny Welback, who shot over. Giggs helped the team to play well after Kim's equalizing goal. Sir Alex Ferguson may have stepped down as a manager after 26 glorious years and the team may have fallen under his successor David Moyes, but Ryan Giggs bounds on regardless of his age and played his role as a responsible play-maker, teammate and  a leader.

Moyes on Giggs-
"The best thing is to say that he doesn't play like he is 40 and he doesn't look he is 40. He is an outstanding player and its a privilege to be working with him on my staff, but also have him as a player. I have noticed that how good and incredible player he is".

Both Manchetser United and the Wales' Football team are proud and privileged to have such an experienced and loyal teammate. The Welsh wizard has made 838 appearances for his club.

                                            Wine gets better with age,
                                   So does Ryan Giggs

United travel to White Hart Lane expecting a tough contest

I guess, nearly all United fan will be looking forward to this game ,come Sunday at the White Hart Lane.Last season United could never beat Spurs, thanks to some inspired performances by the likes of Gareth Bale and Clint Dempsey and some hopeless defending by United. This time around,we will travel to North London a bit high on morale and confidence, while Spurs will be facing us extremely low on morale.Although we should be wary of the fact that although Spurs are placed at the 9th spot but on their day they can make you look like idiots. They will be back from their 6-0 drubbing on the hands of our noisy neighbors while we handed a 5-0 thrashing to Bayer Leverkusen 2 days ago in Germany. So,the Spurs vs United clash on Sunday presents a fascinating contrast of two sides who need a win.

The good news (sorry, but I love Eriksen, gws Eriksen)for United is that the epitome of great speed and skill has left their side and the new epitome of passing and vision is out injured.United should be able to capitalize on their defensive problems and lack of creativity in midfield and even Spurs can take advantage of United's midfield problems. But the pair of Giggsy and Phil did perform well at the BayArena on Wednesday and moreover,Clevz and Fellaini have been a bit below par this season.Rvp is still a doubt for Sunday but Shinji's "antics" in the midfield should be tough for Tottenham to handle and especially with Wazza up front.

In the formation beside,I chose the pair of Jones and Fellaini as Jones(also being a Centre back) has a tendency to drop back while Fellaini loves to move forward and he links up well with wingers and others around him.I won't prefer Nani(no personal grudges) as the Leverkusen game was a bit less important than this one and a victory will be a target for Moyes.Kagawa should  play as a left winger and Evra, being quick and agile can surge into the box if Shinji drifts into the middle. But in case,Shinji does that Jones can perform his defensive duties and there will more chances being created.Wazza's role will be central to United's performance on Sunday as he can take up nearly every job in the park ranging from acting as a playmaker, scoring, blocking out runs and performing defensive duties

It should be a tough and tricky contest for the Red Devils but I get the feeling that we have a much better side than Spurs ,who  have thus far failed to accommodate the new recruits in the side. The  potential goalscoring threats will be Roberto Soldado and Gylfi Sigurdsson who understand each other well and link up well up front. But the likes of Vida,Ferdy,Jonny should (will) close them down well.

So,I'll predict a 1-0 or a 2-0 victory for United

Arsenal should not take Cardiff trip lightly: Preview

Introduction

Arsenal travel to South Wales to the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff for a 3pm kick off in the Premier League on Saturday. The trip looks like a comfortable afternoon for the Gunners but the men in red and white should be wary of the threat posed by the newcomers of the League. The Welsh side have done it against the Manchester clubs, drawing vs ManUtd and handing a 3-2 loss to ManCity. The likes of Frazer Campbell have troubled the Premier League defences and goalkeeper Marshal has also been in brilliant form.

Arsenal on the other hand have been excellent till now and have a four point lead at the top of the Premier League. Sitting atop the League, Arsenal have just lost twice in the division - an opening day loss to Aston Villa and a marginal one at Old Trafford. The Gunners have scored 24 goals - only ManCity have found the net more times - in 12 Premier league game, conceding 10 times, having the second meanest defence in the league - behind Southampton. The likes of Giroud, Ramsey and Özil have been key to Arsenal's march to the top.

Cardiff come into the match earning a last minute point vs the current champions ManUtd whereas the Gunners come back off a couple of 2-0s vs Southampton in the Premier League and Marseille in Europe. This has the makings of a good match with the Gunners requiring a win to keep their four point gap top of the pile.

Predicted line ups

Wojciech Szczesny will be the one starting between the sticks until some injury issue occurs. The Pole has been in emphatic form since the start of this season and has kept four clean sheets in his last five matches.

The back four have been quite solid this campaign and the same should be considered starting this time round. Sagna and Gibbs will start at full backs with Mertesacker and Koscielny starting in the heart of the defence. Kieren Gibbs was given a rest during midweek and will most likely start on Saturday, dropping Nacho Monreal to the bench.

The midfield is the one which will be the most tricky for Arsène Wenger to chose. The likes of Wilshere, Ramsey, Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky, Cazorla, Özil are all in contention for a starting place with the most likely trio of Ramsey, Arteta and Özil being on the line up sheet.

The front three will definitely see Olivier Giroud starting as the pivot upfront. Despite the return of Theo Walcott, expect Cazorla and Wilshere to start. Wilshere scored a couple of fine goals in the win during midweek with Cazorla still trying to regain his brilliant form of last season.

Prediction

I expect another 2-0 win in South Wales for Arsène Wenger's men with Giroud and Cazorla on the scoresheet.
