Ryan Joseph Giggs is one of the most loyal football players in the history of football. He has been playing for Manchester United for more than 25 years. The best thing about Ryan Giggs that he gets better with age. He has also played for Manchester City for 2 seasons. He established himself as a winger in the early 1990's and is known for his tireless running, ball possession and creating chances for the other team mates.
His last match was against Cardiff City ( 2-2) in which he played at the city of his birth. With a vintage and clean play at his last match against Cardiff, he demonstrated that he is still an integral part of the squad. Playing at the city of his birth, the Welshman rose from the bench from the 73rd minute and immediately caught an eye of the fans with his skills and passes. Every spectator at the stadium was surprised to see the first time through-ball for Danny Welback, who shot over. Giggs helped the team to play well after Kim's equalizing goal. Sir Alex Ferguson may have stepped down as a manager after 26 glorious years and the team may have fallen under his successor David Moyes, but Ryan Giggs bounds on regardless of his age and played his role as a responsible play-maker, teammate and a leader.
Moyes on Giggs-
"The best thing is to say that he doesn't play like he is 40 and he doesn't look he is 40. He is an outstanding player and its a privilege to be working with him on my staff, but also have him as a player. I have noticed that how good and incredible player he is".
Both Manchetser United and the Wales' Football team are proud and privileged to have such an experienced and loyal teammate. The Welsh wizard has made 838 appearances for his club.
