Everton hope to break jinx-Preview

Manchester United host Everton at Old Trafford

Romelu Lukaku-the smiling assassin

David Moyes would have to fight off his tears and his former club when his side will play host to a formidable Everton side today.Everton fans may still find this hard to believe but their side will face their former gaffer today at his new home. Both sides are unbeaten in their past five games and especially the Reds, who are still riding upon their unbeaten 12 match streak. There are no injury woes as far as Everton are concerned but United have some uncertainties and possible absentees.Robin van Persie is fit(not fully) and may feature against the Toffees but the bad news is that our utility player Phil Jones is set to miss out as he collected his 5th yellow card of the domestic season during United's trip to London.United are currently sitting at a disappointing 8th spot in the League while Everton are sitting pretty at the 5th place.

A 4-0 thrashing of Stoke City on Saturday ended a run of three straight draws and Everton have lost just once in 13 league games this season - a 3-1 defeat at Manchester City in October.Home games against Everton and Newcastle United this week give Moyes' side a chance to make inroads into the nine-point advantage Arsenal currently hold. But the jinx the title tells you about is that Everton have failed to win at Old Trafford since 1992,which was the first season of the Premier League.

Line ups

No injury blows for Everton can possibly mean that they may field a  side similar to the one they fielded against Stoke.Gerard Deulofeu was very impressive against the Potteries and so was Lukaku, who can prove to be a headache for the United backline. For United,Jones' exclusion means that Fellaini's somewhat sure to start alongside Cleverley or Giggsy(I'll play Giggsy for Clevz) in the middle of the park.

This game won't be like the Spurs United game in which there were somewhat less clear chances.United will have to be careful because this will be quite an open game, with the way United play, as Everton can run with the ball. Romelu Lukaku has got pace, too, so this is a hard game for the hosts. The more the game opens up it brings Lukaku into the game and Everton keep the ball well.
This game will be very unpredictable
