High-flying Hammers visit under pressure United-Preview

Ravel Morrison will face his former club at Old Trafford

After handing Spurs a painful 2-1 defeat at the White Hart Lane in the League Cup 3 days ago,West Ham United will face an uphill task at Old Trafford in Greater Manchester.United stormed through into the Semi finals after breezing past Stoke City 2-0,in a game which was dominated more by the hailstorm than by Ashley Young's United. It's been quite a while since I saw West Ham beat United, but an upset may well be on the cards when the Londoners visit Old Trafford. The Red Devils have offered a positive response to a recent wobble - with successes enjoyed in Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Capital One Cup competition. But West Ham have struggled in the Premier League recently and their position in the table serves as a testimony to this. The Hammers will come into the game in a highly buoyant mood but United know that they'd have to do their "December acts" this season.

Team News

Reports suggest that Moyes is struggling over Wayne Rooney's fitness, while criticized midfielder Marouane Fellaini may well be fit for tomorrow's game.Robin van Persie and Nemanja Vidic are set to miss out for the Manchester club while James Tomkins is sidelined due a groin problem.West Ham will also miss star winger Stewart Downing and centre back Winston Reid, who is out due to an ankle injury. And strikers Andy Carroll (ankle), Ricardo Vaz Te (shoulder) and Mladen Petric (calf) are still on the sidelines.

How they'll line up

Manchester United-De Gea, Rafael, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Fletcher, Jones, Kagawa, Januzaj, Valencia, Welbeck.

West Ham United-Jaaskelainen; O'Brien, Collins, Tomkins, Demel; Diame, Morrison, Collison, Noble, Jarvis;Cole

Predictions
West Ham can give the Reds a hard time on the pitch but United know what kind of a side they actually are.I've seen Matt Jarvis and Cole link up well upfront and that was what caused problems to Spurs in midweek.Darren Fletcher can prove out to be a game-changer for United, considering the experience he has gained and this experience can help United in the worrying absence of Rooney and van Persie.Ravel Morrison is a big threat ,his movements off the ball have caused serious damages to opposition defenses and the central defenders will have to do well to keep him contented with a limited amount of space.
United should beat their opponents ,we can expect a clean sheet for De Gea
2-0 to United
