Juventus mid-fielder Paul Pogba won the Golden Boy award defeating Romelu Lukaku and national-team mate Raphael Varane. Pogba has played and has become one of the integral players in Conte's starting eleven. He has helped Juventus to reach a new level.
In an interview with sports channel he said-
“‘Having won the league for the first time, got as far as the quarter-finals in the Champions League, won the Under-20 World Cup with France and been promoted to the first team by coach [Didier] Deschamps, 2013 really was a golden year for me.” Pogba has now joined an elite group of players who have earlier won this award, including the likes of Wayne Rooney and Rafael Van der Vaart,
