City drawn with Barca,Arsenal with Bayern

Manchester City and Arsenal will face stiff tests in the Round of 16

The Champions League, once again showed why it is considered to be one of the best tournaments in the world at Nyon,Switzerland today.Luis Figo was present there to draw out the teams against one another and the stage was nearly set for Arsenal and Man City to face tough draws. And they did,Manchester City were drawn with Spanish Champions FC Barcelona, while Arsenal were left to play against Champions Bayern Munich.

Manchester United will face a relatively challenge in the Round of 16,as they will brace themselves to play Greek giants from Piraeus ,Olympiakos.AC Milan also were involved in a tough draw,as they will turn up against Diego Simeone led Atletico Madrid.

Another interesting tie focuses on Didier Drogba as he'll ready himself to play his beloved former club Chelsea, who beat Crystal Palace 2-1this past week. This will be the first time he will be standing there to deny his Chelsea side, since leaving Shenghai Shenhua last January.

French giants will be up against tricky opponents Bayer Leverkusen ,who gained qualification due to a huge slice of good fortune after defeating Real Sociedad.

Spanish giants Real Madrid were drawn with FC Schalke ,who have become a  force to be reckoned since 2 or 3 seasons.Runner ups Borussia Dortmund will also face an easy hurdle to advance into hte Quarters as they will face Russian giants Zenit St.Peterburg .

The first legs will be played late in February ,while the reverse legs will be played on 18th and 19th of March next year. The draw has given us something to ponder upon, before the real matches start but it will be quite enough for the fans to imagine their sides to win or lose .

So,good luck to every team...
