Newcastle look to pile up the pressure on Moyes-Preview

Manchester United will play host to the Black and Whites today

No one can possibly forget the last time these two sides met on Boxing Day last year, when Javier Hernandez won it for United late in stoppage time.

This game is set to give you the thrills it gave the last time around but situations and fortunes differ vastly this time around.Just when you thought that United had put their poor start to the season behind them, they themselves proved you wrong,by enduring a 1-0 defeat to Everton 3 days ago. While as far as the Magpies are concerned, they suffered a defeat on the hands of the Swans on Wednesday after winning 4 of their previous games.Defeat to Everton and Swansea meant that United slumped to the 9th position and Newcastle fell to the 7th spot in table respectively.

Team News
For today's game United will come out as the "Injured tigers" as they have some significant absentees who are set to miss out including Wayne Rooney who received a suspension following his 5th yellow card of the season.Michael Carrick,we know is out injured along with the long sidelined Darren Fletcher.Robin van Persie's still doubtful and David Moyes is still unsure whether or not he'll feature. And even Shinji Kagawa is dealing with some kind of a breathing problem which he felt after the Everton game on Wednesday.Newcastle United are also dealing with some injuries and illness issues as Steven Taylor is sidelined due to a knee problem while both Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa are doubful due to illness.

Kagawa was involved in a 999 scare after he suffered breathing difficulties

Projected Line-ups

Manchester United
De Gea;Evra,Evans,Vidic,Rafael;Jones,Fellaini;Nani,Kagawa,Valencia;Hernandez

Newcastle United
Krul;Santon,Coloccini,Williamson,Debuchy;Gouffran,Tiote,Cabaye,Sissoko;Ameobi,Remy

Expected Result

Winning this game would require diligent hardwork and additional effort as Newcastle have displayed how good they actually are this season by handing out defeats to both Chelsea and Spurs. And the Magpies very well know how to take care of the boastful big clubs and have the firepower to beat United. But this game is a must win for United and this side remember is a Champion side which knows what it's ought to be done in these predicaments .You-Know-Who will surely benefit from the 3 points his side will obtain at Old Trafford and I guess, they will win this one today...barely.
