Psg look to give starters a break-Preview

IT'S A DO OR DIE SITUATION FOR BENFICA

Psg,who have already qualified for the last 16 will look to give youngsters a chance at the Estadio Da Luz stadium in  Benfica. . Psg had earlier this year defeated Benfica 3-0 at the Parc des princes and would love to do the same  at Lisbon shattering the hopes of Benfica to gain qualify in the round of 16. Moreover, Psg striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be desperate  to score another goal by becoming the first footballer to score 9 goals in group stages by overcoming the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo,Gianfranco Zola and Ruud van Nistelrooy. On the other hand,Its a very tricky and problematic  situation for Benfica if they lose and Olympiacos win then Olympiacos will qualify. If both the teams lose and Olympiacos loses by a 3 goal margin and Benfica loses by 1 goal margin then Benfica will qualify,if both the teams have same goal difference and same points then Olympiacos will qualify on aggregate(2-1).If benfica win and Olympiacos lose then Benfica will qualify. If there is a draw in both the games of group then Olympiacos will qualify on basis of goal difference .Benfica love  to give the Parisiens a taste of their own medicine at Estadio da luz stadium and in doing so,they'd also hand them their first loss of the Champions League season

Psg manager Lauren Blanc said that"We want to maintain our high standards and win. A French side has never won here so that gives us great motivation to do so. It's difficult to play without any pressure and without the need to collect points, but the players that feature will feel good for it. It's a fantastic stadium with great history, so it's an ideal environment for players who have yet to play in this competition to learn. There will be some future international players on show. We are here to enjoy the ride."

Benfica manager Jorge Jesus also remarked  that"Disregarding the fact that we are dependent on the result in the other match, we have to work the same way we always do, with the will to win. At Benfica, we always play to win – that responsibility remains the same. To beat Paris we'll have to be at our absolute best. Both sides have injuries, so we are equal there, but both have alternatives too. The motivation is the same for both teams."
