PRACTICAL RUDI GARCIA HELPS IN ROMA'S REVOLUTION

AS Roma v SSC Napoli - Serie A

AS Roma, after a long time, have achieved two main football ideals-to win the games, but in style

However, in their latest appointment, French manager Rudi Garcia, they might just have found the man to finally strike the right balance. Ever since the Sensi family handed over the ownership of the club to the Thomas Di Benedetto-led consortium, with James Pallotta as owner, two years ago, there has been a constant cycle of change, both managerially and structurally, at the club, with four coaches, each attempting to impose their own styles on the club, seeing little to no success before getting the boot.

The likes of Luis Enrique, Zdenek Zeman, Aurelio Andreazzoli were not of much use. Indecision in their transfer dealings meant that players were bought and then sold soon afterwards in great frequency. It was in shambles, until Garcia helped them regain some sense of stability. Attacking in his ways on the field, yet pragmatic in his approach off it, the French manager was the right mix of his predecessors.

Following are the words of the French manager "My objectives and football philosophy are without doubt offensive, but I am well aware that in order to win a game you also need an excellent defensive base."

Although Garcia has enjoyed a fine start to life in charge of Roma, but the club's board expect him to emulate the achievements of Sir Alex Ferguson. AS .Roma's president has revealed that Garcia was a hand-picked manager and they believe that the Frenchman is capable of emulating the success of Sir Alex at Manchester United, after a series of impressive performances from the Rome based club.
