Injury woes can affect United at B'mingham-Preview

Manchester United face a tough test at Villa Park

Aston Villa have a great opportunity to capitalize on United's poor form today and they have had a good start to the season, unlike United. But luck looks to be on United's side this time as they are traveling to a side which has had a disastarous home record this season. The Villans have won only two of their opening seven matches at Villa Park so far this season, with only relegation strugglers Sunderland having amassed a lower points tally in front of their own fans. They are currently placed at a much satisfactory 11th spot but their League position doesn't convey anything significant to you. They have managed to outclass table topper Arsenal and former Champions Manchester City (who hammered Arsenal 6-3 yesterday) and should undoubtedly not be taken lightly. But,a failure to pick up a victory at Villa Park would pile up more unwanted misery onto the Champions' shoulders, who have seen five of their main starters get sidelined due to injuries. The injury problems are sure to affect United's performance at Villa but this game will somewhat offer the 2nd choices to prove their mettle.

Team News

United will come out at Birmingham ,in the hurting absence of Robin van Persie,Marouane Fellaini,Patrice Evra,Chris Smalling and no-nonsense defender Nemanja Vidic. While injuries have also shown no respite on the Villa as they'll be missing the likes Jores Okore,Charles N'Zogbia,Joe Benett and Dutch centreback Ron Vlaar while Libor Kozak and Antonio Luna remain a doubt for the United game.

Predicted Line-ups

Aston Villa- Brad Guzan; Nathan Baker, Ciaran Clark, Chris Herd; Antonio Luna, Karim El Ahmadi, Ashley Westwood, Leandro Bacuna, Matthew Lowton; Christian Benteke, Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Manchester United-David De Gea; Alex Buttner, Jonny Evans, Rio Ferdinand, Rafael da Silva; Phil Jones, Tom Cleverley; Adnan Januzaj, Shinji Kagawa, Nani; Wayne Rooney.
Predictions
Former United right back Gary Neville rightly remarked that this Villa v United is as unpredictable as this season's title race .United have done well to design Phil Jones as a midfielder and in the absence

of Michael Carrick, the youngster looks the perfect replacement beside off color countryman Tom Cleverley who ,if not for Fellaini's back problem wouldn't have been in the frame of selection.United were ripped apart the last to last time(still United won 3-2) by Wiemann and Benteke when both of these sides met last season and it looks like I'm in a safe zone if I'll say that these both can tear them apart yet again.

In the end I'll predict a well deserved 2-1 victory to Villa or United
