Bale : Real's New Bad Boy
Gareth Bale took his tally to eight goals his last seven games with a hat-trick as Real Madrid had no Ronaldo against Real Valladolid. In the absence of Ronaldo, Bale took the charge of the mid- field and attack and took the team to a convincing 4-0 victory, with the Portuguese sidelined by a slight muscle strain.
Bale proved to be decisive as headed home the opener after Diego Marino could not parry Angel Di Maria's cross.
Three minutes later the Welshman teed up with Karim Benzema to double Madrid's lead over Valladolid. The goal was scored with a clean-in-swinging cross that the Frenchman headed in.
Bale grabbed his second of the game when Carlos Pena could not only turn Marcelo's cross into the path of the grateful former Spurs' man.
And Marcelo was again the provider of the goal for Bale as he completed his first hat- trick in Spanish football with a simple left-footed finish a minute from time.
RONALDO,
STILL THE BEST FOR BALE-
Gareth Bale insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo remains the world's best player in his eyes after his hat- trick against Real Valladolid. He claimed that there no other player on the earth who is capable of replacing Ronaldo as the best player on this planet.
"It's a massive blow not having Cristiano playing. For me, he is the world's best player and we had to a job without him, and thankfully we did it. He has proved that not only Real Madrid but with Portugal too and under pressure sutiations, he is a level above everyone else"
