Thoughts on Arsenal's comfortable win vs Hull

Arsenal ran out comfortable 2-0 winners against newly promoted side Hull City at the Emirates Stadium. Ahead of a demanding set of fixtures ahead, a win was very much welcomed by the Arsenal faithful. Arsène Wenger's men sit atop of the Premier League table with a four point lead over second placed Chelsea.
Here are some thoughts on the win:

1. Arsenal have the best engine room in the League
Arsenal boast a number of exceptional midfield talents in their side with the likes of Ramsey, Wilshere, Özil, Cazorla, Arteta, etc. Looking at the past few games and especially their latest triumph over Steve Bruce's men, Arsenal seem to have an amazing midfield arguably the best in the Division. The balance in the middle of the park has been the key to Arsenal's march at the top of the table. The Gunners have the right balance of attacking flair and defensive minds in their engine room with the group also possessing the ability to find the back off the net. If Arsenal are to finally get their hands on the trophy, expect the majority of the credit to be given to this part of the Arsenal side.

2. If Ramsey doesn't score goals, he sets them up
Aaron Ramsey had another exceptional game on Wednesday night, playing a major part in both of the goals. The first one demonstrated his brilliant vision as he picked out Carl Jenkinson out on the wing with a first time pass. The second one was sheer quality as he roled a perfectly wighted ball to Mesut Özil for his goal. Any slight increase or decrease in the weight of the pass and the chance would've gone. On Sunday, the Welsh Wizard showed his goal scoring ability and yesterday he illustrated his quality with a couple of inch perfect passes. Running out of superlatives to describe this guy...

3. Arsenal have got the squad depth
Many of the Arsenal fans were questioning Arsène Wenger's choice of making a hefty five changes to the starting XI ahead of the Hull game, especially the decision to drop the in-form Olivier Giroud and bring in the much hated Dane, Nicklas Bendtner. But soon the doubters were proved wrong as the Danish forward scored his first goal in the Premier league this season after just 93 seconds from kick off.
A good performance by the centre forward means that there is a back up striker who can lead the line when called upon. Apart from Bendtner, Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott can also deputise as the main man upfront. So bringing in a striker in January isn't really necessary. With all the other positions having ample of men to compete for, Arsenal have enough depth in order to sustain the challenge for the title.

Arsenal are on course for a blockbuster of a season and this maybe the year...
