FC Porto striker Jackson Martinez has reportedly told that he would accept an offer from the Gunners without any hesitation. The Columbian who has been heavily linked with Arsenal's title rivals Chelsea, says he wouldn't miss an opportunity to come to The Emirates.
According to Sky Sports, Martinez said: “When I was a kid, I cheered for Arsenal. I love their style of play, it is flowing and open, with a lot of first touch passes. It would be suitable for a player like me.
“If I get an opportunity to play for a high level Premier league club such as Arsenal, I wouldn’t hesitate to accept it.”
Martinez, however, has a buyout clause of around £35 million which would mean Arsène Wenger would yet again have to splash the cash in January.
Wow, that's nice hear. Arsenal are short upfront and a player of Martinez's quality will be beneficial for the Gunners in their bid for the Premier League crown.
