Spurs Ready For City's Challenge

Two of the in-form sides in the EPL - Tottemham and Manchester City will clash at the White Hart Lane tonight. While Spurs look to keep their hopes of Champions League alive, City would look forward to keep pressure on the league leaders- Arsenal.

Manchester City would be traveling to White Hart Lane on Wednesday unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions and having scored 22 goals in their last five games. But Manuel Pellegrini's side would have to maintain their blistering pace to keep in touch with the leaders, Arsenal.

Fifth-placed Tottenham should pose a stern test for City as improving significantly under the new boss- Tim Sherwood who replaced the sacked Andre Villas-Boas in December. Under the new boss, Spurs have won five of their six league matches and would be looking forward to avenge their 6-0 loss which they suffered against City in November.

Christian Eriksen-

"Hopefully we can put it right now. Every teammate wants to be 110 percent for this game. Everyone knows that you have to be on your toes when you are playing against City, and specially in this season. We have to be on our top level and that is what we have to achieve".

Spurs have won their four Premier League matches under Sherwood and would be looking forward to continue their winning streak in the league. Former Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has enjoyed a new lease of life after AVB left the side and scoring six goals in eight matches with Sherwood at the helm. The Spurs beat City in the last season with a score of 3-1 at home.

Team News-

Manchester City- Hart, Kolarov, Demichelis, Kompany, Zabaleta, Silva, Toure, Fernandhino, Navas, Aguero, Negredo

Tottenham Hotspur- Lloris, Vertonghen, Chiriches, Dawson, Walker, Bentaleb, Dembele, Chadli, Eriksen, Lennon, Adebayor

Prediction-

Though Spurs have been playing much better under the new boss Sherwood, we can not ignore the performance of City in the league and in other competitions also. So, I would predict a 3-1 easy victory for City.
