Can Sunderland hold on at Old Trafford-Preview

Manchester United face another stiff test at Old Trafford

Manchester United will be hosting the 2nd leg of the Capital One Cup f.After a 2-1 loss at the Stadium of Light in the 1st Leg ,Manchester United will hope to turn the tie around the Old Trafford match .Manchester United will play the match without their captain Nemanja Vidic ,who received a straight red card following a ruthless foul on Eden Hazard during United's 3-1 loss at Stamford Bridge .But,Phil Jones' return to action will provide United depth in the midfield, which is exactly what they require. The Red Devils will field a side which will severely miss Robin van Persie and even Wayne Rooney who is still a doubt.  They are likely to field such a side-

SUNDERLAND:
After a close win over former England Champions Manchester United in the 1st leg of Capital One Cup ,Sunderland will be hoping to turn down the chances of Manchester United again in the 2nd leg. They do have a 2-2 draw against the Saints at the back of their heads but Sunderland will look to keep their composure to achieve the unthinkable.Sunderland will miss striker Steven Fletcher, who's injury was dubbed as a "little niggle" by Gus Poyet. But the former Spurs player and current Sunderland manager also confirmed that new signings Oscar Ustari and Santiago Vergini will play the game,or will come off the bench. Winger Andrew Johnson was the chief exploiter in the previous leg ,who's runs into the box turned out to be too difficult to track down .They are expected to field a side similar to this one-

PREDICTED SCORELINE-
Manchester United 2-1 Sunderland.
Considering the current form both sides are going through,Sunderland look  to be the clear favorites to advance .But very few have the knowledge of an important factor in this one.It is that whenever United have won the League Cup,they have lost the first leg of the Semi-final.So,that is something which Sunderland must be clearly aware of if they really want to pull out an upset at the Theatre of Dreams. But,if United fail to keep Andrew Johnson contented with a little amount of space around the box,Sunderland are sure to prevail.
